Walk to the Future
In November we will undertake a sponsored walk in Cambodia. We will walk to the Capital Phnom Penh, starting at Kampong Chhnang, which is approximately 115km to the North West.
The walk will be challenging in the heat of Cambodia, through countryside and towns.
Our objectives: raising funds through sponsorship to directly support the educational prospects of Cambodian children. During our walk, we intend to highlight the importance & value of education and shall welcome anyone we meet to join us – it is vital that education is available to every child!!
What will funds raised be used for:-
This event will support the Future Light Organization (FLO). They provide, food, shelter and education to 71 children, many of whom are orphans. FLO is a special place.
The funds raised will be used to support FLO’s running costs by providing water/electrical supplies, fire wood, healthcare & hygienic supplies. Most of FLO’s local donors have been unable to continue their support, so it is VITAL that this event gains support to secure the future of FLO.
We are of course available to answer any questions you have.
