Generosity from the parents of The King’s School Canterbury, Vattanacville

Matt Baker first connected with staff from The King’s School Canterbury, Vattanacville during a previous visit to Cambodia.

In the run-up to Christmas, the school team kindly offered to reach out to parents and invite them to donate in-kind gifts, based on a wish list provided by the Future Light Organization.

The response was exceptional. Donations included essential items such as cooking oil, salt, sugar, female sanitary products, detergent, books, and clothing, all of which will directly support the day-to-day needs of the children at FLO.

In addition, parents also made a generous cash donation. This will allow Little Acorns to fund new mosquito nets, helping to protect every child at the centre.

Little Acorns and FLO were deeply moved by the generosity of the parents and the support shown by the staff at The King’s School Canterbury, Vattanacville. We hope this marks the beginning of a long-term and meaningful relationship.
