Fundraising, Music and a Fantastic Result in Eastbourne
Fundraising can be enjoyable for the organisers as well as the people taking part, and that was certainly the case at a recent charity evening held at Sovereign Harbour Yacht Club in Eastbourne.
The event was organised by Little Acorns Trustee Paul Wilkins, with most of the hard work behind the scenes led by his wife, Eleanor.
Guests enjoyed an evening of Mod music, dancing and a raffle, with live music from Mod Legacy and a DJ set from Paul Evans.
The evening raised an excellent £1,600 for Little Acorns. The funds will support the children at the Future Light Organization in Phnom Penh, helping towards their day-to-day care, education and future opportunities.
A huge thank you to Eleanor, Paul, the performers and everyone who came along and supported the evening.

FLO’s needs align with our own objectives enabling us to support their day to day running costs including food, electricity, fire wood, medical / hygiene supplies. This close relationship enables us to witness first-hand that funds raised are used appropriately.
